I’m independent, confident and feel I have an outgoing and friendly personality. I’m also at a stage in my life where I want to learn new things and put my qualities and strengths to good use! So a second job in the care sector seems like a good fit.

Although I have no direct experience in care, I first started to grow an interest by accompanying my sister on some of her home visits to see her clients and I helped out where I could.

It gave me so much satisfaction just to do that little bit for someone to make their day a little easier.

I am fully enhanced DBS checked and also undertake first aid in the workplace courses every two years.

I do think I have the right qualities to make a success of working within the care sector as I’m patient, compassionate, caring and always happy and positive and I think that can go a long way!

Although I have a career as a dance teacher in primary schools, there are small gaps in my day for a second job and a second income and have been looking for a role that would fit in to my existing schedule.

Comments I have had in my current role have been about my positivity and energy that I give to everything I put my mind to! I’ve had lovely messages over the years from parents saying their child has learnt a lot and had so much fun in my classes.

I enjoy dancing and keeping fit I also love walking my dog and getting out and about with my two teenage daughters.

I love to read and listen to podcasts in my spare time to relax! I’m great at communicating with people from children upwards!

I’ve built some amazing relationships with both children and staff at all the primary schools I currently teach at and would like to think I inspire young people to be active, keep fit and be confident in themselves to dance and have fun.

Do you have a driving license and access to a vehicle?: Yes, I have a driving license & access to a car

Vaccine: 2 vaccines

Availability: 9.30-10.30 Mon to Fri.

Available for the odd hour in the evening and possibly some time over the weekends

My main hobby when not working is baking and spending time with my dog and taking him on walks. I also enjoy time with my family and friends. I enjoy going to the gym often.

I have a lot of experience in the care sector. Ranging from spinal cord injuries to working alongside people living with dementia.

I’ve had experience with how to deal with difficult situations and how to appropriately deal with these.

I also have personal experience having cared for my own father in the last stage of his cancer in my own home.

I have a very caring nature and enjoy helping others. This is why I enjoy the job I’m in, as it gives me job satisfaction.
